About

Our Purpose

Alpha Care Center is here to help make a difference in the lives of men, women, and children in our community! Through mentoring relationships, volunteers attempt to empower individuals and couples with information to help make life-changing decisions pertaining to an unplanned pregnancy, parenting, abortion, and adoption. We desire that each client has the opportunity to hear about the love of Christ, to be shown the love of Christ, and to have the opportunity to accept the love of Christ.

We Start with Compassion!
Often in an unplanned pregnancy or family crisis many face fears and confusion about their situation. These two emotions are what often motivate one to even consider coming to the Alpha Care Center. Here at Alpha, our aim is to meet them in their fear and confusion with compassion and a listening ear.
We Aim to Bring Clarity!
We seek to find clarity in the midst of confusion. Do you need help to answer questions like: “Am I really pregnant?”, “How far along am I?”, “Is my baby truly a life?”, “What are my options?”, “What are my next steps?”, “How can I afford this baby?”. We accomplish this through offering services such as pregnancy testing and ultrasound administered by medical professionals.
We Offer Companionship!
No one needs to walk this journey alone, and at Alpha, mothers and fathers will find someone who will be a friend to offer support in a variety of ways. We offer free support services under the Earn While You Learn program; such as parenting education, high school completion, English as a second language, material assistance, peer counseling, and referrals to additional services.
We Help People Find a Community!
For a family to thrive, they need a community around them. As an extension of the local church, we believe God’s church is the very best place to find a sense of belonging and ongoing support. We also firmly believe that supporting families in need is at the heart of the church’s call to love their neighbor. Our goal is to help plug them into the local church community!
We Point to All Things Christ!
Ultimately, Alpha believes that Jesus Christ is the hope for the world. We desire others to see Jesus through everything that is done and desire women and men to find hope in the love and grace of Jesus Christ. We believe that a thriving family is grounded in Christ.”

Statement of Faith
  • We believe in the existence of the One true God in Three Persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Exodus 20:2,3; I Corinthians 8:6; Titus 2:13)
  • We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, as originally written; that it was verbally and plenarily inspired and is the product of Spirit-controlled men, and therefore is infallible and inerrant in all matters of which it speaks. (II Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)
  • We believe in the divine creation of the universe and the unique creation of man in the image of God (Genesis 1-2; Colossians 1:16-17; John 1:3)
  • We believe God established human gender biologically in fixed, binary categories: male and female (Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 19:4-6)
  • We believe, based on God’s creative design of male and female, that the Bible teaches marriage is the joining of one man and one woman and that sexual intimacy is only to be expressed within the bonds of a biblically defined marriage (Genesis 2:24; Romans 1:24-29; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 7:1-5; Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 3:18; Hebrews 13:4)
  • We believe in the total depravity of man (Genesis 3:1-6; Romans 3:10-19, 5:12)
  • We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25)
  • We believe in the substitutionary death of Christ and His bodily resurrection (Romans 5:19; II Corinthians 5:21; I Corinthians 15:3-5)
  • We believe in the necessity of salvation through faith in the finished, redemptive work of Christ (Romans 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16, 17; Hebrews 10:10-12)
  • We believe in the existence of a literal Hell and the bodily return of Christ to earth (Luke 16:25; Revelation 20:14, 15; Acts 2: 29-35; Matthew 24:29-31)
  • We believe children are a blessing of the Lord and should be welcomed (Psalm 127:3; Mark 10:13-14)
